Your mission
Developing and driving the global IT infrastructure and security strategy and ensure and maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing IT organization standards
Continuous further development of the IT infrastructure product portfolio
Strengthening the self-organization of employees and professional development of colleagues
Advising the IT organization, the departments incl. top management
Responsibility for infrastructure costs and leveraging all opportunities to lower the cost base and avoid lock-in of high ratio of fixed costs
Leading, motivating and developing team members based on the company’s values and foster a high collaborative and performance culture
Providing strategic guidance for IT OKRs, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls
Aligning proposals and drive commitments with business and IT stakeholders based on the business value
Your profile
University Degree or comparable education in Computer Science, IT, or Technology
At least three years in an IT leadership role – preferably infrastructure management
Several years of experience on operating high-availability platforms on a regional or global level
Deep knowledge in shaping modern system infrastructure
Experienced leader for working models with distributed teams in different cultures
High interest in new technologies
Able to express yourself easily and articulately in English and German (preferably both, C2 level in at least one)
Know-How in network infrastructure (LAN/WAN techniques e.g., routing, switching, Wi-Fi, Cloud, Security, Firewall, DNS, DHCP, Radius, Linux)
Networking certifications (CCNA/JNCIA/ACSA or others)
Leadership skills: communication, good conflict and negotiation management
