Become our Area Sales Manager* for our Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems
at the SCHOTT headquarter in Germany, Mainz and manage cross-functional and
multi-level relationships between regional customers, partners and our
Pharma matrix organization in order to drive sales growth and maximize
profitability.

Your Contribution

In your role as Area Sales Manager* you…

* develop, propose and execute location specific sales approach focused
on growth
* agree and execute yearly budget and monthly quarterly forecast per
product and plant for each responsible accoun
* negotiate prices, terms and frame contracts with local accounts
* initiate and coordinate projects to capture growth potentials with
local accounts
* update organization on product know how, market trends, competitors
and new business opportunities
* evaluate chances and risks of business opportunities in a balanced
way and make risks transparent in the organization
* coordinate customer projects in a cross-functional organizational
setup
Your Qualifications
* University degree in Business and/ or Life Sciences
* Proven record of min. 5 years in Sales or sales related function;
Experience in B2B pharma packaging/ biotech/ medical device industry
preferred
* Good knowledge of major digital tools used in the business
environment (e.g. LinkedIn, MS Office, CRM, SAP)
* Good analytical, conceptual and organizational skills
* Very good negotiation and influencing skills
* Fluent in English and local language, spoken and written
* Team player
